Cardiac Investigations:

- Echocardiography (Cardiac Ultrasonography) transthoracic (from outside through the skin)

- In case of abnormalities or specific history for previous cardiac infarction: Coronarangiography and also cardiac scintigraphy
General abdominal problems:

Gastric problems including esophagus and duodenum, for abdominal pains/discomfort or cancer prevention:

Functional tests and cancer prevention programs:

- All additional investigations (Ultrasonography, scintigraphy, biopsy) will be done in the Department of Endocrinology
Diabetes mellitus:
- Blood tests
- Specific counselling
Hereditary cancer program:
- Such diseases need specific diagnostic programs. These include blood tests, MRIs, often also scintigraphies and other tests.
Pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma:
- 24hour blood pressure
- Metanephrine and normetanephrine in the blood
- MRI of the abdomen (in familial cases in addition also of the chest and neck)
- 18fluoro DOPA scintigraphy or MIBG scintigraphy
